Hi Lisa,  

Thanks.. Thanks a lot for providind me these links. These links are very useful. Now please hear my problem, problem was bluetooth peripheral driver not found but I want to tell you that, 50% solution of my problem I got. I mean to say that peripheral drivers for my headset have been installed by one of these links. But inspite of it, neither my headset is connecting with laptop and nor showing any connect option. 

 

Now what I to do for connect? Please tell me further instruction.

Hello yesterday I bought my HP Pavilion Sleekbook 14-B050LA with Windows 8, but I downgrade it to 7 Ultimate cause I dont like Windows 8 at all, I did the downgrade but I cant find the drivers for it anywhere, I have seen in this forum that one person got the drivers for it but he didnt provided where, please a need help for this as soon as possible thank you. :(

Hi,

     i am using Hp Dv6 3057Tx, my recovery disc was corrupted,so i intalled fresh os .but i have a problem in hp media smart webcam ,i also download drivers from hp webite,but its is not working, please do help to solve the webcam problem and please give the link for order recovery disk in india.

I'm having exactly the same issue - would you be able to step-by-step explain how you got yours to work again? It sounds like the best solution I've come across so far but am unsure what you mean by 'uninstall it but leave it on your computer' (I am completely not tech-savvy at all.....)

I managed to install the update without problems. Here is what I did: First, applied a "system restore". Second, I opened the "command prompt" as administrator and typed these commands, pressing ENTER after each line:

  1. DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
  2. DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Then I restarted the system and applied Windows update as usual. It paused at 30% for a second which troubled me but then went on as expected.

Hi,

 

thanks for reply.

It doesn't work.

during the instalation it says that there is no HP Tools, if I want to make it? When I say yes or no, later it says there is no space because i have already 4 partitions.

after this event the laptop says there is a problem with wd installer package. a program runs as part of the setup did not finsh as expected. Contact your support.

 

Is it necessary to install this package or can i live without it?

I had bought pavilion g6 last year with a windows 8 pre installed. I was studying in ISB where they installed win 7. Now i want to shift back to win 8 but i dont have a dump. I have already paid for the original windows. Will i get a win 8 setup for HP a dump or a CD?

sometimes laptop undergo shut down from alt+f4

dear sir ,

                  there is a very serious problem occuring in my laptop ,in my laptop i m using window 8 so there is a short cut of shut down  by shot cut key(alt+f4)  but most of the time it does not shut down using it,niether shut down nor restart and when i want to put it in sleep mode,it even does not go to sleep mode.please consider it&reply to it urgently.

I was searching a solution for this with Google, but either I didn't find anything, or I've found what I already knew, tried or was looking for, but either didn't worked, or didn't found any. Or it was a complete failure. Either way I suspect, that it has not yet been asked, so I'll ask it.

 

I've recently bought a HP ProBook 470 notebook, with FreeDOS preinstalled on it (or with no OS as it was advertised on the site), and installed Windows 7 and Ubuntu, dualboot. My issue is with Windows.

 

Off-topic: I also disregarded the accompanied notice, that I should not remove the pre-installed system, as it comes with an optimised video driver; as there is no ATI driver for FreeDOS (if I'm not mistaken) but I couldn't have use any advantage of it anyways. I just thought I'll mention it. :P

 

One of the thing I wanted to test with this laptop, is to use it as a headset for my phone (that I did before on my previous laptop with success, but it wasn't HP's) but it didn't worked on my new laptop, there is simply no option for it.

Removing the connection then reconnecting it I checked what drivers are installed, and it seems that the following drivers are installed (removed 'Bluetooth' prefix):

 

A2DP Source
AV Remote Control Target
OPP
Phone Book Access
Handsfree Audio Gateway
NAP service

I now know, that what should interest me are the "Hands-free Audio Gateway" and the "A2DP Source" drivers. Checking the phone action/control panel/window thingy more thoroughly (that is different from what I had on my previous laptop, so I guess it is a Bluetooth driver software, and not a Windows utility), I see that I can start a phone call from it, but that is not what I'm looking for; to the phone, it is paired, but not connected to the laptop, and that is inconvenient for me.

 

When I've installed Windows 7, I've used the HP SoftPaq Download Manager to download drivers on my laptop (after I started to download few of them by hand). I just run it again today, before reconnecting my phone, nothing changed.

 

I don't know what now. I know that my phone is capable to use this functionality, and also this laptop is capable to recognize it, and I suspect that it would be capapble to use it, but there is no interface on the system. Any suggestion?
