As for compatibility, I read product reviews by individuals that had used the Targus DOCK190 successfully with Spectre x360-15 laptops. I also talked to Targus support who indicated that it would work. My guess is that something has changed with the model I have that it no longer works with the Targus DOCK190.
At this point I'm doubting whether any power-delivery docking station will work with the laptop I have. Do you know of any that will work?
Do you know what HP is going to have a docking station of their own that will work with this laptop?
Contrary to popular opinion, a system RESET does not WIPE the drive; instead, it reformats it and repartitions it. That leaves the files and folders intact -- just not seen by Windows.
Granted, once you do a reinstall, that will overwrite a lot of stuff, but it's possible that your picture files can still be recovered.. as follows:
I have a spectre folio and it is frustrating that this was what I thought would be an improvement on my other laptop, an older Sony ultrabook which has easily updated to win 10 1909 giving extr features.
I have read other posts and note that HP suggest waiting until this problem is resolved in the future.
But when will that be. I switched to HP thinking it is a reputable brand but why has this obvious problem not been resolved by now.
Hello. i' ve got some problem with my HP Pavilion 17 AB207UR (1JM55EA) and will be very thankful if you'd be able to help me. after giving the order of shutdown it shuts down only for 3 seconds, then it turns it on again. Neither goes it to sleep regime after a long time of no activity- the screen only goes off for a second and then on again. the laptop only shuts down with a long press on a power button, which, as i know, is not recommended. I installed almost all the versions of windows - 7, 8, 10, i have updated the bios as well. i download and install all the necessary drivers on an automatic mode, but the problem hasn't been solved. Please, advice what can i do to eliminate the problem, or what is another way of shutting it down, without damaging the hard disk. Thanks in advance

So Product I'm having trouble with is the HP 2000 Notebook PC. The Issue with is that it's taking forever to reset. It's almost been an Hour and a half, and all I'v see is a white/black screen with just the cursor... Is that normal?
To resolve this issue, follow the steps in the methods below starting with method 1, if that method does not resolve the issue continue to the next method.
Method 1: Check the permission of the file or folder
Note Make sure you are an Administrator or you are part of the Domain Admins group if you are in a domain.
Permissions are rules associated with files that determine if you can access the file and what you can do with it. To check the permission of the file or folder, follow these steps:
Right-click the file or folder, and then select Properties.
Select the Security tab.
Under Group or User names, click your name to see the permissions you have. (The screen shot for this step is listed below).

If the issue persists, check the file location
You might get this error if the shortcut or installation is attempting to access a location that is not currently available such as a networked or a removable drive. Recreate the shortcut to check for corruption
Unblock the file: In some cases the file may be blocked by Windows. Check the properties of the file, there may be a note saying This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer To check for and unblock the file, follow these steps:
Right-click the blocked file and then select Properties.
In the General tab, select Unblock if the option is available.
And check to see if your antivirus software is blocking the file.

I purchased a HP Spectre laptop on August 2019. I had taken the back to college offer and paid Rs.1999 for Bang & Olufsen headset. Till now I have not received my gift. I have been continuously emailing the redemption team but they reply with excuses. HP promises to deliver by 4-8 weeks but it has been around 4 months since my purchase. Why is HP marketing offers like these if they are not able to provide the same in time? Very bad experience with HP
