Re: windows 7 installation on hp-15 f033wm notebook.
I recently replaced my hard drive on an HP-15 f033wm. I was installing windows 7 on it but need all the drivers for it to work properly. The unit came with Windows 8.1. I loaded them but nothing worked. If I could just get online I could find drivers for it but it wont connect to the internet.
HELP!!!
Re: windows 7 installation on hp-15 f033wm notebook.
Hi:
Try the W7 drivers and software from the HP 250 G2 notebook on yours, except the BIOS and firmware files.

HP Probook 450 G3 Bios Corruption
I recently got an HP Probook 450 G3 from my boss, who he got from a customer, with the issue that the laptop did not work. Under further inspection, the issue is 2 long and 2 short beeps coming from the laptop, which would mean BIOS failure. I've tried Windows B + V key, and nothing works, it just sits on a blank screen, with no access to anything, while the fan ramps to max and stays there. Any suggestions? At this point, if I even want to spend money on this, I may just try and get a BIOS chip and resolder it myself. I also am not able to turn it off normally, I have to take the battery out every time, and seeing as I don't even own a charger for the laptop, the battery life counts, lol. I've let it sit for maybe around 30 minutes to no avail too. Anything helps!
Thanks!
Re: having trouble activating windows
Hi,
Run the free utility that I zipped up and attached below to see what version of W8.1 the product key is good for.
Some models come with W8.1 and some come with W8.1 single language.
You need to install the correct version of W8.1 the key is good for and as you saw from the Microsoft download site, you are given several choices.
Once you know what version of W8.1 the key is good for, go back and download the right ISO file.
If you have any questions regarding the version of W8.1 you need to install, copy and paste the showkey plus report.
You do not need to post the product key. Just the description of W8.1.
For example, the showkey plus report for my PC shows this W8.1 version in the BIOS...
OEM Edition: Win 8.1 RTM Professional OEM:DM

Product Info Programmed into System Board is Missing or Invalid.
Hello everybody,
My Laptop is Model 15-AF042NL which is running Windows 10 64bit
The last day or two, I noticed that my computer was slower starting up (i.e. going to the desktop) but yesterday I noticed an error on Start-Up
"The following product information programmed into the system board is missing or invalid"
"Product Name"
"Serial Number"
"Product NUmber"
"System Board CT Number"
Then I saw this:
I have downloaded the HP assistant and updated the BIOS and before that a Windows Restore Roll back but both without success.
Any ideas?

Caps Lock not working properly and z Key will not work in caps at all
In internal keyboard on my notebook is having an issue with the caps lock key and the z key.
- Caps lock does not work at all.
- Shift key does work on most letters
- shift key will not work on "z" key. If you press Shift+z, no letter appears. This key works in lowercase only.
I have looked at the following already:
- filter keys (I believe I turned this off/disabled)
- updating the BIOS with august 2019 update
- setting shift key to turn off caps lock (which did work for a while - but not on z key)
Any ideas on this? I don't think it can be a hardware issue. as I previously had caps lock stuck on and then z worked in caps.

Re: Product Info Programmed into System Board is Missing or Invalid.
Hi,
You have to take your PC to an authorized HP service center and have them tattoo the BIOS with the information you need added or changed.
They have a proprietary HP DMI tool for this purpose.
That is the only way that info can be programmed into the BIOS, and no, we don't have access to that tool.
Re: What driver installs driver ACPI\HPIC0003\2&DABA3FF&0 for HP Notebook - 15-bs028cl
Hi:
You need the driver that I zipped up and attached below.
Download and unzip the file to its folder.
Do not do anything with the files in the folder.
Go to the device manager. Click on the ACPI\VEN_HPIC&DEV_0003 device needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.
Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.
Then restart the PC.
Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for the hardware ID you posted...
