I need an alternative way to turn on my laptop

Hello! About 3 weeks ago I spilled v8 on my laptop. I let it drain and managed to clean out most of the v8, the only problem was the power button and track pad didn't work. While cleaning off the keyboard I found that I could click f5 and start windows quick web and I could get to windows from there. I just used a wireless mouse instead of the track pad and it was working great. Then 5 days ago when it wanted to install an update. Instead of restarting it I just shut it down. When I tried to turn it on with f5 the next morning it wouldn't work. Nothing I click or push will turn it on, anyone have any clue how I can turn it on without bringing it to a repair shop?
