Recently I have purchased the laptop, and a while back my sound stopped working and so I managed to solve it from this topic : http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-PC-Sound-and-Audio/HP-Envy-15-3040nr-Sound-Stopped-working/td-p/2673061
But soon after, like in a month or so, My audio wheel suddenly turned the clockwise direction to be reducing sound. As that has happened before i opened up the beats menu and changed it then changed it back again. But this time it doesn't change the settings and no matter what I click, clockwise or anticlockwise, my settings is not working. I get clockwise to reduced, anticlockwise to increase even if I change it.
I thought it could be because of the trouble shoot I have done earlier with the no sound. So I uninstalled and did the reset with power and beats button down for 10 seconds with plugs out but after installing and everything again, nothing changed.
Please help me out. This is frustrating me beyond belief !
