I've been having terrible luck with the Windows 8.1 update. I have a HP-2000-2B89WM 500GB Notebook, 4GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 3000. Ever since I updated, my computer has been crashing any time I try and run a program on it. I will get a blue screen stating that there has been an error and the system needs to restart. I tried updating the drivers via Intel's website; did absolutely nothing beneficial, made my computer blue screen repeatedly. I even tried updating drivers and applying all of the new Windows 8.1 updates/fixes from the HP download page, as well as the Microsoft website. I tried doing a system refresh, but that too left me with another 'error' message. It also will not let me do a factory reset, though I have tried multiple times. My computer came with Windows 8 installed on it, but no matter what I do, it will not let me revert back to before I downloaded the Windows 8.1 update. I also keep getting messages stating to contact the computer's manufacturer, which doesn't really help me out at all at the moment.
