Hi Paul Tikkanen --
I followed your instructions but I cannot get the Windows 7 USB/DVD installation tool to open the ISO file from Digital River. It keeps saying that it is not an ISO file, but it has the ~.iso file name. I've tried several ways to work around it. I used Roxio to burn it onto a DVD, but as expected, that did not work in the laptop. I used Roxio because the computer has it pegged as the default software for an ISO file, so it appears in the list with a Roxio icon beside it. I wonder if that may be what keeps the Windows 7 USB/DVD installation tool from recognizing it.
I think that if I had a smattering of knowledge about computers I wouldn't have this problem, but I've been looking around and can't figure out what to do. Thanks!
