Well, I've asked the consultant after my purchase about changes in the hardware by the user and the warranty, and the response was, that I can i.e. add an another stick of RAM if I want, or even change the HDD for SSD - it is my laptop after all. What he said is that they are only interested in reciving the laptop with the factory configuration if you are willing to use warranty, so i.e. if you have added a stick of RAM - remove it before sending laptop to them. I do not know if this is an official policy though, so it is best to contact with HP, but I think it would be OK to change the wi-fi/BT module for something from a normal supplier, and keep the old one somewhere, only to put in beack in the case of using waranty.
