Bios version is F.1D. I already had Maximum processor state at 100%, now I've set the Minimum state as you suggested and here's what's happening: on battery the cpu goes to a maximum of 1.6GHz-1.73Ghz, but Plugged in the CPU drops down to 931MHz and won't go up from there, and I'm even running Prime95 stress test. Could it be a driver issue? As I remember before formatting my hdd and installing windows again, on the previous version of windows (the same as this one, win 7 x64) the CPU was running at normal speeds.
