HP does not support new consumer PC's for any other operating system but W8 64 bit

You would have to find W7 64 bit drivers from several places looking at the hardware in your model.

If you want to proceed with no 100% guarantee of success (but highly likely), then do the following:

1. Make your set of W8 recovery disks before proceeding to install W7. Once installed, the recovery partition will most likely no longer work.

2. You need to change a BIOS setting.

Read this info to get your PC to boot from your W7 installation media and run W7.  You cannot put the setting back after you install W7.

After you get windows 7 installed you can use the following links for drivers and available software.

1. Install the AMD chipset driver and reboot. First file listed.

2. Run the AMD Driver Verification Tool to find and select the right driver for the graphics adapter in your notebook.

3. Accept the agreement. Download and install the second file on the list for the audio driver.

4. You can probably find all of the rest of the W7 x64 drivers you need from this model at the link below, except the graphics and audio.

If there is a driver you can't find, click on the device in the device manager, and post the hardware ID for the device needing drivers.
