You state you are only getting a black screen, but the computer has power, is that correct? I will try to assist you with this issue.

I would like you to try a hard reset.

1. Remove all connections including the battery and AC adapter
2. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds
3. Once done reinsert only the battery and AC adapter
