I'm having a similar problem and I wondered if you might have some answers. A while back my simple pass stopped workinhg all together. So I uninstalled and reinstalled it and got it to the point where the fingerprint scanner is working fine, and when I start up my computer and log onto windows simple pass askes me to swipe my fingerprint and that all works great
The problem is simple pass no longer askes me to swipe on any of the website logins like it used to, and it no longer even askes me if I want it to remember passwords when I visit new sites.
All the websit URLs, login name, and passwords all seem to be there in the grid view of the webcards, and the "Enable website login" is checked in each one. But when I visit these sites simple pass just doesn't seem to even recognise I'm there and doesn't launch to ask me to swipe my finger.
I tried all the steps you listed below to reset the webcards but no joy.
I would be grateful if you had any ideas??
