your suggestion was later what worked for me . however , i reinstalled windows 10 this time format the whole hard drive . and win 10 created new set of partitions ( 4 partitions ) and i did a clean install . reset my bios to default . and i used HP image manager to download new drivers and my system is back and running well . and well activated digitally (though i had the win key already with me )

What went wrong !

prior to now , i hard issue with my system so i did a re-installation of windows 10 . at the stage of partitioning it seems like i deleted some partitions unknowingly ,so the windows choose the recovery partition as a boot up drive . that why you were seeing it red . about 600M data was added to the recovery drive .  after a lot of online research . i read an article that suggested i should delete all partitions  and do a clean install . and that windows will automatically set up the partitions it needs  . and there it goes . my system came back alive .  but before then i hard my HP recovery backed up .

my only issue is that the backed up recovery drive might contain some other data that are not part of the recovery . ( that i will work on but if anyone have a clue this  please share )

anyway i shared this so others can  learn .

and thanks for your support .
