I recently bought an hp pavilion ultrabook 14-b112eo (ssd/hdd hybrid), preinstalled with Windows8. I installed Ubuntu, by first formatting both the ssd and the hdd in gpatred (live-cd) and then installing. As there were some driver issues in Ubuntu I decided to install Windows 8 again. I installed Windows on the 32gb ssd and then I used the hdd as home folder. The thing is that Windows 8 is quite massive and I am worried that the storage space on my ssd won't be sufficient (after updates etc.), currently I have 10 gb free.
I have read that you can RAID the two hard drives from BIOS and then reinstall Windows. Will this decrease the performance of my ssd or is there some property of my computer that will make most of the OS being read from the ssd?
By the way, I can't disable legacy support from the BIOS anymore. If I do, Windows won't boot.
