Since the newer models from HP comes with windows 8, a friend of mine wanted me to install windows 7 instaid. Said and done. Allmost. When I was done and the OS was configuring it stated that the hardware is not compatible with this version of windows.
Since I use my computer, I hate the living hell out of the original windows you get from the branded computers, all the programs that are forced on to you are a pain. Therefor, as usuall, I removed every single trace of the original. Including the recoverydisc.
To the question!
How in the world of the living am I suppose to fix her computer, that now serves as nothing else than a bookstand?
Appearantly you no longer get a product key on a sticker on the back of your computer anymore.
Thanks in advance.
PS. I was going to install w7 with a legit key, no piracy.
