I created the recovery system on a flash usb key, I had exactely the same trouble. I tried more than 8 times to restore my system but then, I found a solution that did work for me.
I had to plug my key into the usb port that I used to create the recovery system.
It was not the one on the left-side but one on the right-side (ewww !!!).

J'avais créé la sauvegarde sur une clef usb mais en fait, lors de la restauration du système, il fallait la brancher sur le port utilisé lors de la création de cette sauvegarde. Pour moi, il ne s'agissait pas du port situé sur la gauche de l'ordinateur.
