I am sorry i think i could not explain my problem properly
a) In any other desktop, if we want to share a folder, we can do so as an administrator by just right click, but in this HP, We are unable to share folder due to messages like Server services not active, then we run Services.msc, click on Server Service, click on start then able to share folder - we are unable to understand y it is imperative for us to run Services.msc, what is the meaning of message Server services not active
b) We are unable to get LAN connection although when we plug LAN cable, green LED is ON and pink blinking, mostly because there is no driver, we tried to Update Driver for Broadcom Netxteme Gigabit Ethernet, got updated as per the message on screen and get a prompt to restart, after restart we find driver not updated as small circle iin yellow color with a black dot, we tried by loading drivers for netwrok from the link that u had provided still LAN not active
Kindly let me know what do i do for the problem related to services, as i need to start manually even for sharing a folder also for all other services, what i should do so that everything happens on its own like in any other desktops that means without starting up the services by me
Unfortunately i have lost original OS CD to reload OS again to take care of issues related to Services and LAN
