Re: How do i fix this Bootup/Startup problem/aggravation/frustration?

Thank you for your kind response.

 

One of my personal rules is, Before you ask for help, do your homeword and research the problem.  In this instance, I have thoroughly done so, including reading and practicing multiple times, the solution as set forth in your response.  All to no avail.  If you do carefully read the last line of the paragraph suggesting making repeated attempts, it says "CALL HP SUPPORT." 

 

I GAVE UP ON THIS JUNKER AT THAT POINT AFTER TWO (2) DAYS EFFORT AND DECIDED I APPARENTLY HAD A BRICK.  NO MORE HP CRAP, AND NO MORE SO-CALLED SOLUTIONS THAT DON'T WORK EXCEPT TO "CALL HP SUPPORT."  AND, I RECOMMEND YOU SELL ANY HP STOCK THAT YOU OWN.
