Ok I see. Yes, the drivers on the Drive Page are for the whole platform and they don't differentiate based on editions.
There may, however, be certain software (like the HP Utility Center) that works with the port replicator, that only comes installed with HP OEM versions of Windows and not with retail versions.
All of those drivers can be downloaded and installed on the retail edition though and shouldn't have trouble working together as long as they are all up-to-date. Several of those drivers/pieces of software work closely together and when a new version comes out, it is designed to function best with the latest versions of the other drivers it normally works with. It's like a web of software, really, and if any piece is outdated, other pieces could be affected by it. That may be the case here. I'm interested to see how the Chipset driver update goes.
