By chance, have you tried installing the 64bit driver package? I downloaded the Broadcom wifi driver for Windows 7 64bit from your product's support page and extracted the contents using 7-zip. It looked like the package had 32bit and 64bit drivers. Upon running the installer from HP, I did get the following screen which indicates 32bit Windows 7 is included. I didn't check all drivers listed.
