At least with a "pure" SSD, you won't have to worry about it but make sure you install the RST software and driver, because that has TRIM support for SSD's.  Works for all Intel based PC's with a series 7 or newer chipset, and yours has a series 7.

 

You cannot change the drive controller setting to AHCI on consumer notebooks.

 

RAID doesn't seem to be an issue as you can see from the discussion below.
