I have an HP G61 on Windows 7 64bit and am struggling with the battery check option on HP Support Assistant, running the latest version of HP Support Assistant 7.4.45.4, I have reloaded the HP Suport Assistant and it still does not work properly.
When trying to check battery status, the check shows battery is full but it only lasts 2 minutes, when I click on Advanced button it comes up with "HPBC stopped working" and Windows is searching for a solution... It does not give any option to Calibrate the battery either. I have tried the other option of restarting the laptop and on the HP screen pressing esc then F2 but this also does not show Battery Test!
