I understand you have lost your OS and that you are unable to enter the recovery manager from the F11 key. You state you are unable to access the recovery manager, did you create recovery disk? If so you could use them to return to factory. Performing an HP System Recovery (Windows 7). If not,then I would suggest you call HP Technical Support and ask for a recovery USB option. When doing the recovery, it will ask about backing up your personal data. If a backup has not been done, I would suggest you choose yes and you will not lose your data.
