Thanks for posting in the HP Support forum.
I am sorry about the issue you experience.
The issue you describe can literally be caused by lots of things and in order to be fixed it needs troubleshooting.
Can you reply back what is your HP computer model ?
What is your operating system installed ?
Did your Windows came preinstalled on your computer (OEM) or you installed it on your own after computer purchase ?
What is the version of your Internet Explorer ?
1. Please, download Microsoft's Autoruns utility - link here. Please, save it to your Desktop
2. Right click the exe file and run it as Administrator (if you use Vista/7/8.0/8.1)
3. Wait some seconds until you see the log has been ready
4. Click on File -> Save
5. Save the new file to your Desktop - name Autoruns, Save as type (please choose Text . TXT)6. Use the private messaging system and send me a PM , or post the log file here in your reply.
As a text in the PM, please open the TXT file in your computer, click Edit->Select All, then Copy ALL the text and past it as a text in the private message or in your next post.

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC, using Windows 7. It came installed. I am currently using IE 11.0.3. Would this have anything to do with the HP Support Assistant Chat function constantly failing?
