New notebook. Cannot get beyond Windows / Symantec License Terms page

I have just bought a  HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15-n025sa notebook. Fresh out of the box I cannot get past the 3 License Terms pages. Clicking Accept on the first 2 gets me to the 3rd (Symantec) but ticking the box and clicking Accept on that one has no effect. The page doesn't change. Is this me or the machine?!
