Power surge charger problema

I have this problem with my dv6 pavilion.

It started when we had a power surge and the charger pack made a internal shock sound.

When the power turned back on and the laptop caps lock light was white and the wireless button was orange.

It was like that and i couldn't turn it off so i took the battery out of the back. It then turned off.

When i plugged my charger back in the light next to the charger port, it never lit up. The laptop won't turn on.

I've tried to hard reset it but nothing happens. No lights, fans turn on and no sounds are heard.

I don't know if it's the laptop or the charger.

Please help me with this.
