Hello,

Thank you for the information. It is great to hear that you have been able to activate Windows. To confirm, at this point can you connect an Ethernet cable from your notebook to your router/modem? If you are able to you can complete all updates for Windows. As well to make sure that all drivers (such as your wireless driver) are up to date you can use the HP Support Assistant. I have included the document 'Using HP Support Assistant (Windows 7, Windows Vista)'. This will walk you through the steps of opening the Support Assistant, as well as getting the updates that you need.
