HP Support,
Last week my HP dv6 3124nr got water spilled on it. I completely dried it out. I was able to get back into Windows and everything seemed to work fine except the keyboard. So I am now using an external keyboard. I updated all my hardware drivers off of the HP download site. Fine, until after updating by BIOS to Version F.29 which is what HP shows for my model, Windows will not load.
Every time I power it up it sits there and beeps for about one and half hours before finally Windows loads. After reading some of the forum on your site I did a recovery back to original factory settings. Again I had the same problem of Windows not loading.
This morning I powered it up and it told me that I had a hardware failure and that I needed to run Diagnostic Tool by hitting F2. When it opens up the diagnostic tool it only has a screen that reads it is initializing the tool. It can set there for hours and does nothing.
This hard drive is only about three months old.
Please help as I need my computer.
