My HP has been randomly turning off.
Hello I've been having some difficulties with my laptop for the pass 3 to 4 days. At times it will just completely shut off before the login screen, and other times it will shut off after I have logged in. Other times I will be in the middle of doing something very important and it will completely shut off and won't come back on for at least 20 minutes. I have no idea what is going on if somebody could please help me with this issue that would be great, please and thank you!

Don't think there is such a path and the Key Code is not visible to the end user in the OS.

You should IMMEDIATELYTAP the ESC button after you've press the power button. You dont have to wait for the HP logo to come up..

That's good to be aware of - this is strictly a school laptop for me so I'm only ever on YouTube occasionally and the majority of the time I use Chrome and MS Word - Windows 10 has been fine for those uses on this device. Thanks for the tip.

Have you tried checking the HP site? You can find drivers for your product here:

I believe that the specific driver that you are looking for, is the HP System Event Utility. You can download it here: sp71716.exe
