... since MS "halted" the release of v1809, NO ONE has received v1809 Upgrade as part of a standard rollout. So, it could be days, weeks, even MONTHS before a particular PC make and model gets the v1809 Upgrade.
I'm assuming you're talking about HP devices, but the 1809 update has well and truly been (re)released starting in Mid-November, and had previously installed it on a different device. Microsoft has released 1809, Intel has released driver updates, and it's only HP that hasn't released updates.
I had previously used 1809 on a different device, and this, losing access to features I was actively using rather than simply having to wait longer for the new features, makes it more fustrating.
Second, HP provides us no access to schedule information regarding when, or if, they plan on updating any specific drivers. So, we have no way of getting that information to provide it to you.
That's annoying, and I'm guessing there is no way to get someone involved in the update process to comment. But in your experience, do you have some timeframe in which you would expect HP to release customized verions of their drivers?
